Toyota Captures Several Year End Safety Awards


Toyota vehicles captured some very impressive year-end awards for vehicle safety.  5 Toyota vehicles earned either 4-star or 5-star safety ratings from the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA).  Sienna and Camry were both named 5-star picks while the Rav4, Tacoma and Tundra were named 4-star picks.  The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) also handed out their "Top Safety Pick +" awards and on that list were 5 Toyota models and 3 Lexus models...more…

Toyota Sienna Earns "Top Safety Pick Plus" Rating from IIHS


The 2015 Toyota Sienna  was the only model of minivan sold in the United States to score well in a front overlap crash safety tests.  The crash tests were performed by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.  The Dodge Grand Caravan, the Chrysler Town & Country and the Nissan Quest performed poorly, according to IIHS.
