Toyota North American CEO Jim Lentz and Plano TX Mayor Harry LaRosiliere addressed a crowd of dignitaries, Toyota associates, and team members during a groundbreaking ceremony for the new North American headquarters that will be moved from Torrance California.
Toyota has already filed plans with the city of Plano for the $350 million dollar headquarters that will be built on a 100 acre campus. Toyota estimates that as many as 4,000 employees will make the move from California and various engineering facilities around the country, to Texas. For more on this story Click HERE.
