Toyota Production in North America Nearly 2 Million in 2017

In 2017, Toyota built 1,983,723 vehicles at its North American vehicle assembly plants. Production volume was down slightly from the previous year total of 2,124,608 vehicles.
 
Toyota’s total vehicle production in North America since 1986 has reached nearly 32 million. Key drivers of this year’s production include low fuel prices, continued stability in the overall economy and strong customer demand for trucks and SUVs.

Toyota Tops Consumer Reports Reliability Rankings


                 
Toyota and it's luxury brand Lexus occupy the top two positions in the latest reliability rankings from Consumer Reports.  This is now the 5th year in a row that either Toyota or Lexus has been at the top of the list.

2016 Toyota Prius and Prius Prime Look Good in Crash Test Ratings


Safety ratings, and their accompanying videos, from IIHS and NHTSA are giving thumbs up to the 2016 Toyota Prius and the soon-to-be launched Prius Prime plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.
