Toyota teams with Microsoft on connected-car venture


Toyota Motor Corp. is collaborating with Microsoft Corp. to consolidate much of the carmaker’s global research in telematics, data analytics and network security services as the auto industry expands connected-vehicle technologies.

Toyota Partners with Yellowstone National Park for a Greener Future

The Lamar Buffalo Ranch is an off-grid ranch located inside Yellowstone National Park. In an attempt to conserve resources and maintain one of the few pristine pieces of nature in the United States, Toyota gave the ranch 208 reused Toyota Camry Hybrid batteries to store energy collected by solar panels. The solar panels generate renewable energy, which is then stored inside the Camry Hybrid battery packs, which were recovered from Toyota dealers nationwide.
