Toyota and BMW Annouce Partnership

Toyota Details Environment Commitment


On Tuesday, Toyota released its 2012 North American Environmental Report which documents the company's commitment and respect for the planet and the environment.  Toyota is the most efficient full-line manufacturer with "zero-waste" plants.

Several items were highlighted in the report:

        Toyota has the most fuel-efficient fleet of any full-line auto manufacturer in the United States, and Prius accounts for half of all hybrids on the road in North America. In 2012, the Prius c and Prius Plug-in Hybrid joined the family.

Toyota Camry and Honda CR-V Named Top Redesigned Vehicles in 2012


The Toyota Camry and the Honda CR-V were named the top redesigned cars of 2012 by the editors at Cars.com.  "The Camry drew huge appeal from car shoppers and scored big among top-selling models," said Kelsey May, industry analyst at Cars.com.

Cars.com sited a number of factors including sales, to determine which redesigns were the most successful.
