Toyota tops Kelly Blue Book's Residual Analysis Report


This week, Kelly Blue Book released its 2013 Residual Analysis Report and once again Toyota and it's luxury counterpart, Lexus earned top honors in the report.  The entire Toyota lineup of 2013 model year vehicles is expected to retain the greatest amount of its original value after the initial five years of ownership.  Lexus, claimed this same accolade in the "Luxury" division of the report.

Toyota Drivers Rack Up 14 Victories in 2012 Season


Japanese automaker Toyota certainly does understand how to put together a winning team. The brand's run to a Top Fuel racing title included 14 wins and 17 number one qualifying positions during the 2012 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series season. One of the top performers this season was Antron Brown, the first African-American driver in history to win a major American auto racing title.

Toyota Donates $1 Million to Support Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts



NEW YORK, Oct. 31, 2012 - Toyota today announced a $1 million contribution to the American Red Cross and other nonprofit organizations to support relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Sandy in the regions worst-hit by the storm. Scion, Toyota and Lexus Sweep All Top Spots in Consumer Reports’ Annual Reliability Study

The Detroit Free Press is reporting Toyota's three brands - Scion, Toyota and Lexus - swept the three top spots in Consumer Reports' annual reliability survey, which analyzes subscribers' experiences with 1.2 million new vehicles to predict future reliability.  Of the 27 models in the brand's lineup, 16 earned the highest rating.  The subcompact Toyota Prius C received the top score overall.

Toyota Motor Sales Reports 41% Increase In September Sales




TORRANCE, Calif., (Oct. 2, 2012) - Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today reported September 2012 sales results of 171,910 units, an increase of 41.5 percent compared to the same period last year on both a daily selling rate (DSR) and a raw volume basis, unadjusted for 25 selling days in both September 2012 and in September 2011.
