With over 16 million views, Toyota's RAV4 "Wish Granted" commercial was the most viewed Super Bowl XLVII ad, according to VisibleMeasures.com, which counted views across the web, not just those on YouTube.  Toyota posted the ad online on a week before the Feb. 3 Super Bowl and used social media channels to generate buzz about it.

The Toyota commercial, with Kaley Cuoco, a star of the hit TV show "The Big Bang Theory," amassed 16,297,666 views.  Mercedes-Benz was a distant second with 12,041,827 views, and Volkswagen was third with 11,542,318.  Rounding out the top 10 were: Samsung, Audi, SodaStream, Hyundai, GoDaddy.com, Budweiser and Coca-Cola.


While some in the ad industry have questioned the value of releasing Super Bowl ads before the event, VisibleMeasures.com reported that ads released in advance garnered 600 percent more views than those that waited to show them during the big game.
