Car Prices Continue to Rise


From Kelley Blue Book:
Transaction prices on new vehicle sales continue to rise, posting a gain of 1.4 percent or an average of $458 in October. The average new vehicle transaction price according to Kelley Blue Book data now stands at $34,023, which also represents a $223 increase over the September figure.

Toyota Prius C Earns Top Safety Pick Award


The 2015 Toyota Prius C subcompact hybrid hatchback earned the Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety following structural improvements to the front end and occupant compartment.

The car's side curtain airbags were also lengthened.

The rating applies to 2015 Prius C models built after May.
