U.S. News and World Report has released their "Best Cars for the Money" reports since 2008 and Toyota vehicles have traditionally fared well. 2015 is no different as Camry Hybrid and Highlander Hybrid topped the list in 2 of the 21 different automotive classes.
To choose its winners, U.S. News combines the average price paid and five year total cost of ownership data from various sources. This information is then combined with their own rankings based on the opinions of automotive press about a car's performance, interior features, interior comfort, reliability and safety ratings.
Camry Hybrid and Highlander Hybrid were joined on the list by the Lexus RX 350 to give Toyota the second most awards of any automaker on this years list.
