At Marion Toyota, just like any other business, our daily operations depend on many people behind the scenes.  Some of these people interact with customers for setting service appointments, social media and other community relations.  Other team members work in our accounting office taking care of accounts receivable, payables, payroll, as well as state license and title work.  These positions primarily work in these two departments:

Clerical & Accounting

Like every large business, Marion Toyota has a full team of Accounting and Clerical positions that handle every customer transaction and keep our business running smoothly.

Our Accounting Office Team handles accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, state license and title work, and manages inventory.  To be a part of the Accounting Office Team, candidates must have:

  • Knowledge of proper accounting procedures
  • Ability to stay focused and complete tasks accurately
  • Have excellent computer skills and be proficient at math
  • Ability to accomplish daily tasks without constant supervision
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and assist others
  • An understanding of each dealership department

Reception, Phone Operators & Business Development

Because we have many different departments with different responsibilities, our Business Development Team answers phones, text messages and emails from customers. They direct our customers to the proper department or individual who can handle their needs best. 

Not only do these team members deal with inbound communications, they also make outbound contacts to customers to remind them of upcoming service appointments, vehicle recalls as well as current sales and service campaigns from each department.  To be a part of this team, candidates must:

  • Have excellent communication skills (verbal and grammatical)
  • Have ability to perform in a fast paced environment
  • Be able to engage multiple customers simultaneously
  • Be a problem solver and a good listener
  • Understand how to be a proper voice and face of the business

Website & Digital Advertising

The internet is a huge part of our business for every department.  Our Business Development Team also handles our digital messaging and online presence for our website, and all digital advertising.

Members of our Business Development Team are able to:

  • Use a computer and other digital tools effectively
  • Keep our inventory and business messaging updated online
  • Work in a fast paced environment
  • Complete tasks on time and meet deadlines
  • Work with 3rd party vendors to promote Marion Toyota

Customer Communication and Social Media

Communicating with our customers goes a lot further than meeting customers face to face.  Our Business Development team also communicates with our customers online through social medial and in the dealership with signage and informational displays.
