The Toyota Camry is turning 35 this year. Rather than resting on its laurels, Toyota is instead delivering some substantial upgrades that will make the 2018 Toyota Camry a tangibly better sedan than the ones that came before.

Some of the biggest improvements to the new Camry come from Toyota's efforts to improve on the agility of its popular sedan. While the Camry has earned its reputation as a dependable car, it's not a car many would turn to if they were looking for a joy ride. The 2018 Camry could change that.

With a new double-wishbone suspension and a stiffer chassis, the new Camry enjoys a lower center of gravity and a 30-percent improvement to its torsional gravity. This makes the car more agile and the steering more precise. Add in the a standard 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine rated for 203 horsepower, and you can have some fun zipping the Camry down the road.
