Marion Toyota Master Technician, Doug Janz, has been named "Outstanding Quality Champion" among Toyota Master Diagnostic Technicians in the Chicago Region.
Within each of the 12 Toyota region of the country, there are Master Technicians and Master Diagnostic Technicians who submit a significant number of high quality product reports on a regular basis. These technicians are "Toyota Advocates" who care enough to devote their own time and effort into making high quality Dealer Product Reports (DPR's). They also provide tremendous support for the Field Technical Specialists that represent Toyota in the field every day.
Toyota Quality Champions Recognition (TQCR) is achieved by each technicians performance in the following objectives:
- Recognize top performers and encourage the submission of DPR's from the technicians who have proven ability and willingness to provide this quality information.
- Strengthen the technicians relationship to Toyota and their enthusiasm for generating quality DPR's through Region and National recognition.
- Strengthen the relationship between technicians and the Region Technical Staff
- Develop a unique status and reward to inspire other Toyota Technicians
