When you think of the automobile industry, your mind probably doesn’t automatically go to “green” or “environmentally friendly,” does it? Maybe it should …

Toyota recently named a top priority as “global warming,” and is looking at five specific areas in which to improve: carbon, water, outreach, biodiversity, and materials. The company has just released the Toyota Miria, a completely carbon-fueled car which emits only water vapor as exhaust.

It’s also partnered with several other organizations to improve the health of the planet: the World Water Monitoring Challenge and the Wildlife Habitat Council are just two.

At Marion Toyota, we’re always interested to hear about the innovation Toyota is using to make vehicles better and the planet healthier. We’d love to show you around our dealership here in Marion, Illinois.
