Your safety is our prime concern here at Marion Toyota and we will do everything we can to keep you and your loved ones out of harm's way. So when our favorite Japanese automaker announces that they're recalling their vehicles, whether it's one model or many, whether it's a small number or a large amount, we know that it's our duty to let you know as soon as we can. Unfortunately today, the number is quite large.
Currently, there is a recall on 766,300 units across four models. If you drive a Toyota Corolla, Matrix, or Tundra from the 2003 and 2004 model years, or a Sequoia from the 2002 to 2004 model years, then this recall concerns you. Please keep an eye on your mailbox for a notification from the automaker in the future.
The problem concerns the airbag for the front passenger seat; the inflator could have an improper propellant that may cause it to burst. This will lead to the airbag not deploying on impact and increasing risk of injury.
If you are notified by mail, please contact our Marion, IL service center at your earliest opportunity. Our skilled technicians will schedule you an appointment, get you in, and fix the problematic parts quickly and free of charge so you can get back to your day.
