Toyota's Chief Communications Officer of North America, Julie Hamp, accept the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, but she's not just doing it on behalf of the company; this stunt hits much closer to home.

Many celebrities and CEOs of big-name companies have been taking to the bucket to raise awareness and funds for ALS and its association. Singer Shakira, former President George W. Bush, funnyman and actor Chris Pratt and more have cooled off in the name of charity, and the entire charade has raised roughly $53.3 million to date. Hamp is joining the group with a donation and ice water shower in the name of her sister-in-law who passed away from ALS not too long ago.

Toyota also put their own automotive twist on the challenge, incorporating the all-water emissions of the Toyota FCV hydrogen-powered car into the bucket. Tune in to the footage below:

Curious to see if her nominees will accept the challenge? If the Senior Vice President of Automotive Operations, Robert Carter, goes for an icy swim, you'll see it here on our Marion Toyota blog. Want to know more about the FCV? Stop in to our Marion, IL dealership to talk shop!
