Car gurus and auto aficionados are well aware that the 2013 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show was held in Las Vegas last week, and Toyota used the event as a forum to bid adieu to the FJ Cruiser.  This new vehicle has been known for its off-road capability and rugged good looks for years, but after the 2014 model year, it will be gone from new car lots across the country.

It's sad, but its departure leaves room in the automaker's new vehicle lineup for new models, and the car company is sending it out with a  bang.  At this year's SEMA Show, it debuted the FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Ultimate Edition, which is the toughest trim level that we've seen yet.

Only 2,500 of this tribute vehicle will be produced, and it pays tribute to the iconic Land Cruiser FJ40s of the 1960s.  It's painted a unique "Heritage Blue" hue and has a white grille, and pays homage to this model that was designed to be an affordable and capable off-road vehicle that could get Toyota drivers and their gear out on their next great adventure.

As we said, this new edition of the FJ Cruiser will be produced in very limited quantities, so if you're in the Cape Girardeau and are interested in owning one, get in touch with our sales team ASAP.
