Marion Toyota proudly announces it has made a $5,000 donation to Continuing The Legacy, A Project Benefiting Abe Martin Field; part of the SIU Saluki Way Project.  The campaign was established in May of 2011 to raise money for an estimated 4.9 million dollar renovation of the SIU men's baseball complex that was originally built in 1964.

The facility is the oldest in the Missouri Valley Conference where the Salukis compete.  The goal of the project is to bring a state of the art, quality baseball facility to the Carbondale campus to help attract premier student athletes. Improvements are essential for the Salukis to consistently return to post season play. SIU joined Division I baseball in 1966 and have made 5 trips to the College World Series.

Marion Toyota, a long time supporter of Saluki Athletics has been a member of the Saluki Dugout Club for 16 years and also made a $25,000 donation to the original Saluki Way Project. The project funded the recently built new Saluki Football Stadium and the renovated SIU Arena.
