We can't help but LOL at Toyota New Zealand's latest advertisement, which shows a cat risking every one of his nine lives for rides in the new Toyota Corolla. While most kitties dread riding in vehicles, being cooped up in crates, and being worked over at the vet, this fluffy white cat tries its best to do all of these things.
The cat's first injury, a broken leg, seems unplanned, but once he gets his first ride in the luxurious cabin of the 2013 Toyota Corolla, he just continues to want another "fix." He begins purring ferociously and starts to plan his next trip. Throughout the ninety second ad spot, he plans run-ins with a neighbor's Great Dane, a lawnmower, a cement mixer, and several other adversaries to make it back into the Corolla (and to the vet) many more times. Eventually, the persistent kitty takes things a little too far when he allows himself to be swallowed up by a street sweeper. His owners bury the deceased kitty, but then we see his furry zombie hand pop out of the grave for what we assume is another try.
We can't but help admire the tenacious furry creature; we love the new Corolla as well!
