Parents magazine and Edmunds.com have named the Toyota Prius v, Camry and Sienna among the Best Family Cars of 2012. To help parents save money, the publication favored vehicles that get great EPA mileage and represent the premier value in their class. They paid close attention to kid-friendly features, while also keeping in mind that a smooth stylish ride makes everyone happy.
"The Prius v provides a stable ride," the editors wrote. "The rear seats slide forward and back in two sections, so you can position a baby closer to the front while your grade-schooler gets more legroom. The rear cargo area can fit a travel crib, plus luggage for a weekend getaway."
