The new Camry faces some tough competition this year in its growing mid-size segment, such as the Hyundai Sonata, the Honda Accord, the Volkswagen Passat, and the Mazda 6, but none of these vehicles have the street credentials of the Camry, which has been America's best-selling car for ten years (and counting!), as well as America's best-selling car fourteen out of fifteen of the past years. This year's redesign of the Toyota Camry comes with several meaningful (if small) improvements.
Some of the Camry's 2012 improvements include: two enhanced engine choices: a 178 horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and a 268 horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine, improved fuel economy ratings- at 35 mpg highway with the 4-cylinder and 30 mpg highway with the V6 engine, tweaked suspension features, including shift paddles on the Camry SE's steering wheel (for a smoother, more powerful ride), greater rear and cabin legroom due to repositioned seats, and a new high-strength steel body (which both provides increased safety and greater fuel efficiency). In short, this year's Toyota Camry is more stylish and refined than ever, and it's technology features are impressive, too!
