We're inching in close to the 2012 Toyota Tacoma's launch, and everyone here at Marion Toyota is quite excited. Previously we informed you about the upcoming changes that the best-selling pickup truck would be receiving, and now we've encountered another bit of interesting new about the updated Tacoma: its price.

More specifically, as it turns out the cost for receiving those nice new features in the 2012 Toyota Tacoma won't really set you back much when compared to the prices of the 2011 model. Pricing on the 2012 version of Toyota's compact truck can range anywhere from $17,685 for base models to $28,645 depending on the specific options that are selected for it.

Of course, we should still put it out there that it isn't too late to check out the 2011 Toyota Tacoma as well. You can arrange a test drive on the Toyota Tacoma, or any of the other new Toyota or used cars models that we carry for that matter, simply by contacting us online or by phone at (888) 223-1540.

But, we know you came here to read about the 2012 model... So, as it turns out, a base 2012 Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab 4x2 ranks in at $17,685. It finds itself powered by a 159-hp 2.7-liter I-4 engine matted to 5-speed manual transmission under the hood. Stepping things up a notch is the 4-cylinder Access Cab 4x4 with automatic transmission. It nets a total of $25,865; only $10 more than last year's version.

Stepping things up even more, we find the PreRunner Access Cab, featuring a 4.0-liter 236-hp V6 and a price tag of $23,570. And, finally, there is the top tier Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 V6, which boasts the highest price at $28,645 MSRP.
