Officially dubbed the Plus Performance accessory package, it features components from Toyota Racing Development's new PLUS hybrid performance line. Toyota gave some insight into the 2011 Toyota Prius PLUS Performance Package, saying, "PLUS is an evolution of hybrid design, where fuel-efficiency co-exists with aggressive styling and performance handling."1
Toyota promises that each of the accessories included in the PLUS Performance Package will enhance the aesthetic appeal and performance of the Prius while also retaining the core values and of Eco and Advanced Technology that the vehicle embodies. This means that the Prius' most attractive feature, its fuel economy, will be unharmed by these modifications.
2011 Toyota Prius PLUS Performance Package Gains:
- Exterior Colors: Blizzard Pearl, Classic Silver Metallic, Black, Winter Gray Metallic- Seven-piece aerodynamic ground effects kit, with front and rear bumper spoilers, sleek side skirts, and distinctive rear diffuser
- 17-inch forged alloy wheels
- 215/45R17 tires
- Track-tuned lowering springs
- Tuned rear sway bar
- Custom limited-edition PLUS logo carpet floor mats
- Package cost for Prius Two , Three, and Four models: $3,699
- Package cost for Prius Five: $2,999
