We must admit that news of new Toyota models has been a little scarce lately, but as the Japanese automaker comes closer to returning to full production levels, we should see more details popping up. We here at Marion Toyota have been eager to hear what Toyota would be wowing us with next, and now we have the inside scoop just for you!
As you may have read previously, Toyota's production schedule really has a little something for everyone. Between the next-gen Yaris at the end of the year, the Toyota Prius v in the fall, and the Scion iQ, Toyota really is delivering a little something for everyone. And, looking ahead to 2012, they don't look to be stopping as they prepare to launch teh Prius C, Prius Plug-In, RAV4 EV, and much more. But, what about Camry drivers? Are they to be left in the dark.
No so, or at least so says our favorite Japanese automaker. If what they have to say is true (and we have no reason to doubt them), then we could be seeing a new Camry and Camry Hybrid design on our lot at 3300 W Deyoung Marion, IL 62959 this fall.
While the Toyota Camry has been the best-selling car in the United States for the last eight years in a row, sales have been a bit more sluggish this year. Though, we should note that this has nothing to do with a lack of interest. Rather, the downward slope in sales has everything to do with inventory shortages that many Toyota dealerships faced after the March 11th earthquake and tsunami.
Unfortunately, we have not heard a whole lot as far as details go concerning the Toyota Camry and Camry Hybrid redesign. They have only said that they'll provide drivers with "technologically advanced features, a contemporary design inside and out, improved performance, and refined ride and handling."1
While we expect to hear more details on the upcoming redesign soon, you can also check out the current 2011 Toyota Camry if you just can't wait for the redesign. The current Camry is an incredible vehicle, and it is available right now. No waiting or guessing required.
