The number one used car auto dealership in southern Illinois, is now hiring for a full time Vehicle Acquisition Specialist. The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist is responsible for locating, evaluating and completing the purchase of pre-owned vehicles for resale from auto auctions, customers and other dealers. We provide you with the best training, and all of the advanced technology you need in today's automotive business to highly succeed. This is a full time, Monday - Friday position.
Duties include:
- Use provided software to analyze market conditions
- Review vehicle condition reports
- Determine wholesale and retail prices
- Handle shipping vehicles to the dealership
- Inspect and accept vehicles arriving on site
- Resolve discrepancies regarding condition inspections and actual condition at arrival
- Create and execute reconditioning action plan to prepare vehicle for retail
Skill requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Self-motivation and self-management skills
- Must be proficient operating a personal computer
- Must be knowledgeable in intermediate mathematics
