Poplular Science Honors Toyota Rav4 EV

Popular Science has named the Toyota Rav4 EV, "The Best of What's New" in the automotive category for its 2012 Best of What's New Awards.  The all-electric sports utility vehicle accelerates better than many conventional SUV's and can go over 100 miles per hour top track speed according to Popular Science Editors.  Popular Science was also able to achieve higher MPG's than the EPA mileage estimates.

Toyota tops Kelly Blue Book's Residual Analysis Report


This week, Kelly Blue Book released its 2013 Residual Analysis Report and once again Toyota and it's luxury counterpart, Lexus earned top honors in the report.  The entire Toyota lineup of 2013 model year vehicles is expected to retain the greatest amount of its original value after the initial five years of ownership.  Lexus, claimed this same accolade in the "Luxury" division of the report.

GEORGETOWN, Ky., (Oct. 30, 2012) - Toyota celebrated the 25 millionth vehicle manufactured in North America today at a ceremony at its Georgetown, Ky., plant coinciding with the start of production for the all-new 2013 Avalon. Toyota Motor Sales Reports 41% Increase In September Sales




TORRANCE, Calif., (Oct. 2, 2012) - Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today reported September 2012 sales results of 171,910 units, an increase of 41.5 percent compared to the same period last year on both a daily selling rate (DSR) and a raw volume basis, unadjusted for 25 selling days in both September 2012 and in September 2011.

Camry is the No. 1 in the American Made Index again this year

Americans Pick Toyotas as Highest Quality Cars in Yahoo! Autos Poll



According to a Yahoo! Autos survey, Toyota has regained its image among Americans age 18 to 64 as the automaker with the highest quality vehicles.  Of 1,000 people asked which automotive brand built the highest quality vehicles, Toyota came out on top with 13 percent, well ahead of others among the Top 5 Quality Brands.
